Come in carrying whatever the week has piled on. Your gloves are here, your coach will set your stance and teach you the punches from scratch, and for the next class the only thing required of you is effort. Strength, cardio and pad work in one session, and nobody in the room will ever hit you; all the hitting here is yours to do.

New members. 14 days. Every studio class included. Yarraville and Hampton East.

A boxing class in progress at All for One

What a class actually looks like

If you’ve never boxed, here’s the shape of it. You’ll glove up and work in rounds: combinations on the pads, taught step by step, mixed with strength and conditioning work in between, so the session trains your whole body while your brain is busy learning combos. The punching is the point and the play of it: hand-eye coordination, power from your legs and hips, technique that sharpens week by week. Your coach moves through the room the whole time, correcting stances and tidying punches, so you’re being taught mid-class, not just counted down.

Expect to work hard, laugh at least once, and leave with your shoulders somewhere lower than you arrived with them.

02

First-class nerves, answered

“Will I get hit?”

No. There’s no sparring and no contact in these classes; the pads take everything and give nothing back. You get all of boxing’s workout, skill and release, with none of what keeps most people out of boxing gyms.

“I’ve never thrown a punch in my life.”

Then your first one gets taught properly, and so does every one after it. Your coach sets your stance, walks you through each punch, and keeps refining your technique during class, because a well-thrown punch is a skill, and skills are taught here, not assumed. Nobody’s grading you. Everyone’s on their own pads.

“Am I fit enough for this?”

Yes, because you work at your own pace from your first round. The intensity is yours to turn up as your fitness builds, and it builds fast; boxing has a way of making cardio feel like something you’re doing rather than something being done to you.

Why people stay

Some of it is the release. There is no hour on our timetable that unwinds a hard week faster, and the people who come once for curiosity tend to stay for how they feel walking out. Some of it is the skill: unlike a treadmill, the pads give you something to get better at, and your coach notices when your left hook arrives properly for the first time. And some of it is what surrounds the class: remedial massage for the big weeks, an infrared sauna for the day after, and a physio down the hall if a shoulder ever asks for attention. From your first class you’re one of ours: greeted by name, taught like it matters, missed when you skip a week.

Our members have given us a 4.9-star rating across 180+ Google reviews.

Nothing untangles a week like a round on the pads.

04

The Intro Pass, and why it isn’t just boxing

We built the Intro Pass the way we’d want to be welcomed ourselves. Five classes in 14 days for $60, across everything on the studio timetable: Boxing, Reformer Pilates, Yoga, Spin, Strength. Plus two infrared sauna sessions, because recovery is part of training and we’d like you to feel that from your first week.

It’s deliberately more than a boxing trial. Pair the pads with the Yin class that undoes the same week from the other end, or the strength work that powers your punches. Either way, you’ll know, and you’ll have been properly looked after while finding out.

New members only. Studio classes; physio-led classes like Clinical and Prenatal Pilates run separately.

Boxing

When life gets tough, put on your boxing gloves’

What are the benefits of boxing?

Increased metabolism, increased muscle tone, increased cardio fitness, improved core stability, improved strength and power, improved hand eye coordination, fat burning, stress relief and fun!

Do I need my own gloves?

No, we provide all boxing gloves, pads and any other equipment needed. You will need your own inners ($4) or wraps ($12) which can be purchased in studio.

If you have your own favourite pair of boxing gloves you’d like to bring then go for it.

I’ve never boxed before, is this class ok for me?

It sure is. Our classes are very beginner friendly and allow everyone to work at their own pace. Our instructors will spend time helping you with your technique during the class to make sure you are nailing the different punches.
