Sahar Babazadeh Pilates teacher
Jean Zhang Physiotherapist
Sahar is a certified Reformer and Matwork Pilates instructor. She also holds a Cert III in Fitness, currently she is completing Cert IV in Personal training.
Sahar was first introduced to Pilates in 2012 whilst suffering from Fibromyalgia which had been an ongoing battle for more than two years. Fibromyalgia is a group of conditions that cause general pain and muscle stiffness in more than one part of the body and can include extreme fatigue and lack of sleep. There is no cure, it can only be managed.
Upon commencing Pilates, Sahar noticed an instant improvement in her sleeping patterns and wellbeing. In addition, Pilates assisted in strength building which in turn enabled her to lead a happy and pain-free life that has been ongoing since. Her positive experiences in this space encouraged her to pursue a career in the fitness industry with Pilates at the forefront.
She is now following her passion and has devoted her life to sharing this great gift with more and more individuals each and every day. Sahar is extremely motivated and takes great pride in being a positive influence on clients and encourage them to become their best self through exercise of both mind and body.
Jean studied at the University of Melbourne and University of Otago before starting her career in private practice in 2019.
She loves being a Physiotherapist and has experience with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, vestibular issues, concussion rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation.
She is a keen aerialist outside of work and is always keen to treat other aerialists, pole dancers and circus disciplines. When she’s not hanging upside down, she can usually be found in the kitchen making (and eating) something delicious and is always looking for new recommendations on where to eat or drink!
