# Strength

Taught the way you wish someone had years ago.

[Class Schedule Yarraville](https://www.allforone.com.au/book-class-yarraville/)
[Class Schedule Bayside](https://www.allforone.com.au/book-class-hampton-east/)

You already know you should be strength training; everyone from your doctor to your podcast has told you. What nobody handed you is the how. That’s what this room is for: 45-minute classes coached by qualified trainers who teach you the lifts, choose your weights with you, and watch every rep, whether it’s your first ever or your five hundredth.

[Intro Pass: 5 classes + 2 saunas, $60](https://momence.com/m/236485)

New members. 14 days. Every studio class included. Yarraville and Hampton East.

01## A class for wherever you’re at

Strength Foundations is where you start if you’ve never lifted, or it’s been long enough that you’d rather begin at the beginning. Technique comes before load, always: how to hinge, squat, press and carry, taught patiently until your body owns the movements. This class matters more than any other on the timetable, because how you’re taught in your first month usually decides whether strength training lasts a lifetime.

Strength is the main event: progressive, full-body strength work with kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells and bodyweight, programmed so you get measurably stronger over time. Every level trains in the same room on different weights, your coach chooses the load with you, and when you’re ready for more, more is right there waiting.

02## First-class nerves, answered

### “I’ve never lifted a weight in my life.”

Then you’re exactly who Strength Foundations was built for. Everything is taught before you’re asked to do it, your first weights start light on purpose, and your coach has taken hundreds of people through their very first session. You will not be left standing next to equipment wondering what it’s for. That, we promise. And if you’d rather find your feet in private first, a few one-on-one sessions with a personal trainer is a lovely way in, and because our trainers also take the classes, you’ll often walk into your first one already knowing the person coaching the room.

### “Will I hurt myself?”

This is the right question, and it’s the reason every rep here is coached. Your form is watched and corrected, your weights are chosen for your body rather than the room’s, and if you arrive with a history, a back, a knee, a shoulder that’s earned some caution, tell us: your coach works around it, and a [physiotherapist](https://www.allforone.com.au/treatment/physiotherapy/)
is down the hall if it ever needs more than a workaround. Done properly, strength training doesn’t just avoid hurting you; it’s one of the best-evidenced protections your bones, joints and muscles can get.

### “Am I too old for this? Too unfit?”

The research says the opposite: the decades when people assume it’s too late are exactly when strength pays its biggest dividends, for bone density, balance, muscle and staying capable in your own life. Our rooms hold twenty-somethings and seventy-somethings in the same class on different weights, and nobody is watching you. Everyone’s too busy counting their own reps.

03## Why people stay

Plenty of people try a strength class. What we’re proudest of is how many are still lifting here years later.

Some of it is how you’re coached. Your trainer learns your lifts, remembers what you’re building towards, and notices when your five-kilo story becomes a ten-kilo story, usually out loud. Some of it is what surrounds the class: a [physio](https://www.allforone.com.au/treatment/physiotherapy/)
down the hall who can look at a niggle before it becomes a story, [remedial massage](https://www.allforone.com.au/treatment/massage/)
for the big weeks, an infrared sauna for the day after the day after. And some of it is the part you’ll have to feel for yourself: from your first class you’re one of ours, greeted by name, missed when you skip a week.

Our members have given us a 4.9-star rating across 180+ Google reviews.

Strong is a skill. We teach it.

04## The Intro Pass, and why it isn’t just strength

We built the Intro Pass the way we’d want to be welcomed ourselves. Five classes in 14 days for $60, across everything on the studio timetable: Strength, [Reformer Pilates](https://www.allforone.com.au/classes/reformer-pilates/)
, Yoga, Spin, Boxing. Plus two infrared sauna sessions, because recovery is part of training and we’d like you to feel that from your first week.

It’s deliberately more than a strength trial. Most people land on strength plus something they didn’t expect. Either way, you’ll know, and you’ll have been properly looked after while finding out.

[Start with the Intro Pass, $60](https://momence.com/m/236485)

New members only. Studio classes; physio-led classes like Clinical and Prenatal Pilates run separately.

05## The practical bits, sorted before you ask

- 45-minute classes at Yarraville and Hampton East
- Coached by qualified personal trainers, with physiotherapists on the same timetable
- Small class sizes, so form gets watched and corrected
- No lock-in contracts, and class packs never expire, because life happens and your classes should wait for you
- Private parking at both studios
- Come 10 minutes early to your first class; we’ll show you around and set you up

## You don’t need to be strong to start.

That’s the whole point of starting. Book Strength Foundations if you’re new to lifting, jump into Strength if you’re not, and if you’re unsure which, call us and we’ll place you honestly. Your coach will know you’re coming, and your first weights will be waiting. Classes run at Yarraville in the inner west and Hampton East in the bayside south east.

Allison’s path to physiotherapy isn’t the usual one. She studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science in the US, trained alongside world-renowned physical therapists in New York City, then moved to Australia and completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. That combination of international training and deep clinical experience gives her a perspective most physios simply don’t have.

She has three specialist areas that set her apart. If you’re a runner dealing with an injury, trying to get back to running, or wanting to run stronger — Allison gets it from the inside. She’s a passionate runner herself and has completed advanced education in running injury prevention, rehab, and retraining. If you’re dealing with jaw pain, clicking, locking, or headaches related to your TMJ — Allison has completed advanced training in TMJ assessment and treatment and can get to the bottom of it. And if you’re going through menopause and want tailored exercise to manage symptoms and build strength — she has specific expertise in that too.

Beyond her specialist areas, Allison treats the full range of musculoskeletal conditions — neck and back pain, shoulder injuries, joint stiffness, sports injuries — with the same thoroughness and attention to the bigger picture.

In your first session, Allison will take the time to understand not just the sore spot but how you move, how you live, and what’s getting in the way. She’ll explain what she finds in plain language and build a plan with you that fits into your actual week — not a handout you’ll forget about by Thursday.

Allison commonly helps with: running injuries and performance, jaw pain and TMJ dysfunction, neck and back pain, joint pain and stiffness, sports injuries and rehabilitation, menopause-related strength and symptom management, and Clinical Pilates.

If you’ve been pushing through something hoping it’ll settle down on its own — it’s worth getting it looked at properly. These things almost always respond better the earlier you get onto them.

## Jackson Clarke

## Personal Trainer

Jackson came to personal training through his own journey from being twenty five kilograms overweight with recurring hip and back pain. Through resistance training he found an avenue to explore and correct his postural issues while building muscle and reducing body fat.

As a result of his own path, he’s gained a passion for promoting functional movements, posture assessment and correction and simply helping clients move as freely as possible during their everyday lives.

Jackson’s training style is that of a teacher and guide. He likes to combine an up beat, positive and intense workout with a strong focus on maintaining correct posture through a session.

## Nat Dynon

## Personal Trainer

Nat brings over six years of experience as a personal trainer and fitness coach, guiding people of all ages and abilities through strength, conditioning and boxing. Her goal? To help you build a sustainable relationship with movement—one that challenges you, lifts you up, and actually feels good.

Boxing is at the heart of Nat’s approach. It’s not just about physical strength (though you’ll build plenty of that). It’s about resilience, confidence and mental clarity—tools that carry far beyond the studio.

Nat is also a Victorian Elite Amateur Boxer who trains and competes regularly, proudly representing Reffos Fight Gym. Her real-world experience in the ring shows up in her coaching style: grounded, empowering and fiercely supportive. Whether you’re here to throw your first punch or push your limits, Nat will meet you exactly where you are.
